I have been a stained glass artisan since 1985. In 2006 I began including mosaics in my work. Mosaics allow spontaneity with design which is a joy. I try to accomplish a feeling of movement and rhythm with my designs. I am particularly fond of making items that have a functional aspect.
My current project is this 20" Daffodil Stained Glass Tiffany Lampshade.
I have almost finished cutting it out. Layering of some of the glass pieces has given the best color and opacity of the glass. There are 648 pieces in this original Tiffany design. I love the colors and I am very happy with the glass selection. Back to work....
